About Devna

Hi! My name is devna and I'm here to help you find the BALANCE YOU NEED TO CREATE A FULFILLING LIFE.

In life so far, I have donned many hats – acting, modelling, classical dancing, fashion designing and now an International Yoga Instructor. A life as an actor and model is filled with uncertainty and one is susceptible to the vagaries of the profession, often causing much stress and anxiety.
But I have been fortunate to have a mother who is a yoga instructor and has inspired me to practice Yoga from an early age, helping me build the mental fortitude and balance needed to navigate the vicissitudes of life. Yoga has also allowed me to stay fit and focused, helping me grow in my career and live a fulfilling life.

II started yoga lessons with Devna after a very disappointing experience with another instructor that left me with an injured back, and very little faith in online yoga classes. Devna has changed all of that. Her classes are well planned, and she takes into account the needs of individual students in group classes. I really enjoy my classes with Devna. I started taking personal classes with her more than a year ago, mainly to work on my flexibility and core strength, and I wanted a trainer who will be able to understand and modify workouts to accommodate my injuries. I've injured myself from workouts before, so I wanted someone who ...will make sure I execute the poses correctly, or give me alternatives - Devna did all that and more. She will ask me how I'm feeling physically and mentally and she knows how to adjust accordingly. She's a great experienced teacher who understands what the body needs, and helps you improve and get stronger. She also helps me become more aware and connected to my body and would also give me advice on food and supplements to improve my health. She's attentive and patient, she knows what I'm capable of and always encourages me to try poses that I thought I could never do. Previously I thought I wouldn't be able to do certain yoga poses because of the size of my body, but Devna dispelled that assumption. Now I trust Devna and know that if she thinks I can do it, I truly can! I feel really accomplished whenever I was able to do something new.
